Postdoctoral Research Assistant (reference 14043)

The Bristol Heart Institute has a vacancy for a postdoctoral research assistant to work on a program supported by an integrated grant from the European Community (RESOLVE), to evaluate the mechanisms by which ageing interferes with proper healing and reverts physiologic cicatrisation in a fibro-proliferative process. The impact of ageing in stem cell biology and reparative potential is also considered.

The coordinator for the Bristol Site is Professor Madeddu, and this grant is for three years, however, the post is advertised for one year and subject to renewable support subjected to approval by the EU commission.
