Postdoctoral Associate position is available for highly motivated candidates with a background in molecular biology/cell biology/protein biochemistry to join a research group interested in ongoing ocular research. The research project is to study phagocytosis in the eye by functional cloning strategy of phage display. Our ongoing research has identified several phagocytic ligands whose mutations cause retinal degeneration and blindness. The project is to further investigate their molecular mechanism for disease pathogenesis.
