研究所医学主管（Medical Officer）招聘启事

Objectives of the program:

The objectives of Institut Pasteur of Shanghai, Chinese Academy of Sciences are to develop activities on health information systems and biosafety, for the education of scientific and medical personnel, students, and general public, to promote the prevention of communicable diseases through a better knowledge of the pathogens and of the ways of protection.

IPS-CAS is looking for a medical doctor who has a strong knowledge on infectious diseases to develop in the Institute an office of Medical Affairs.

Description duties:

In direct contact with the Direction and the scientific personnel, and the sponsoring partner, the incumbent will implement programs for the follow up, information, and training about transmission of infectious diseases in China. Specifically, he/she will:

a) Develop a strategy to collect information on infectious diseases and the way to control them;

b) Establish an electronic information system and integrate it in the website of the Institute;

c) Prepare a strategy for the diffusion of the information concerning infectious agents;

d) Establish a network of targeted population for the diffusion of information;

e) Prepare an agenda and organize meetings in hospitals and high schools, universities, to train the public about infectious diseases and prevention systems;

f) Contribute to develop in IPS-CAS medical affairs linked to biosafety, vaccines, ethics on programs developed by research units in IPS-CAS.

Education and experience:

Medical doctor, preferably with scientific degree (BSc, MSc, PhD), specialized in infectious diseases.

Strongly requested:

Broad knowledge in the field of medicine and public health, with particular focus in infectious disease control and on education.

Capabilities in strategy design, excellent communication
