To succeed in an interview, the applicant should demonstrate certain personal and professional qualities. Since much of the first and lasting impression of a person is the clothes he wears, the applicant should take care to appear well but modestly dressed, avoiding the extremes of too elaborate or too casual clothes. Besides, he should pay close attention to his manner of speaking, which should be neither showy nor familiar but rather straightforward, granmatically accurate, and friendly.
